Overhaul of the meierei offices
Munich
Jan 24- Apr 24
Good place – good projects! We know exactly how important good interior design is and, above all, how good it looks. This was also important to us when designing our own offices.
In our day-to-day work, the projects overwhelm us with all the material samples, color samples and textiles scattered throughout the office. We virtually live temporarily in the respective worlds that we create and design. We also use these experiences to develop the setting for the buildings and rooms to be planned. It is only when we tidy up that our clear basis comes to light. This is reduced to black and white and wood, supplemented by a few striking elements, such as the curtains with the block stripes or the sacred hole in the wall.
The clear black and white neutralizes the colour noise of the projects and keeps us in focus with its strict clarity.
Our sacred hole in the wall sensitizes us again and again. It is simply a different experience to walk through a circular hole than through a square door.
All these quiet experiences and nuances level us out and allow us to immerse ourselves again in all the other worlds that we love to create.
