Munich, Germany
Jan 24- May 24

Good interior design promotes the recovery process of patients – this has been scientifically proven. The satisfaction of doctors and medical staff also influences the well-being of patients. Achieving both is the goal of “Healing Architecture”.

A cardiology practice was designed in close consultation with the medical team together with Prof. Stefan Bannert. The planning takes ergonomic aspects into account, optimizes the workflow and promotes patient loyalty through appealing practice aesthetics.carefully selected colors, pleasant acoustics and innovative lighting concepts create an environment that reduces stress and promotes recovery. The walls are painted in three different shades of blue: the reception desk, the heart of the practice in dark blue, the corridors in medium blue and the treatment rooms in light blue. The meeting rooms are open, transparent and light, while the ECG rooms are sporty. A glass wall with a curtain ensures privacy at reception and a pleasant atmosphere in the waiting room.

When a practice becomes a feel-good place, relationships within the practice improve. Successful interior design also subconsciously builds trust in the competence of the doctors. This is the best basis for successful treatment and recovery – Healing Interior Architecture.
