IPP Max Planck

IPP Max Planck Institute for Plasmaphysics
Permanent exhibition with exhibits concerning fusion research
Garching / Munich
May 2010

Plasmaphysics – nuclear fusion – making invisible worlds visible.
The exhibition symbolizes the inside of a fusion reactor. On its arched walls an insight into the fantastic world of the plasma field is granted.
Levitating info boards, an info screen and light boxes graspably decode the institute’s highly complex methods of operation  – “energy from the stars.“  50 years of fusion research are documented in the adjacent exhibition with many original pieces.
